Consequences, and Opinion TQO#128
Nationwide solution to police union pensions and safety
reason for this article is because last week we had a Georgia State
trooper murdered, the first to be shot to death since 1975. It made
On The Record
had a police "someone" on that stated that fatalities rose
40% since last year. I use to follow these things a bit more, but,
for the record, according to OSHA the most hazardous jobs are:
Crab fishing 121 deaths per 100,000 workers
and tree service 115-90 deaths (it varies) per 100,000 workers My
Way down on
the list, far below sanitation workers are :
Police or fire
fighters 15 deaths per 100,000 workers.
Just to be
clear, in my old job of cutting down trees, I was 6x more likely to
get killed then a police officer or fire fighter, I just did not
have a corrupt union to tell me how bad I had it or how I deserved a
bloated unrealistic pension. If I get killed on the job, there will
be no state funeral for me, even though I take my life in my hands
every time the chain saw starts or when I cut down a 36"
diameter hollow oak tree. Roughly 50,000+ people get injured every
year using chainsaws. More when a big hurricane strikes.
You do need
police for the (safe) functioning of society, the same with garbage
men. Not so for tree cutters or loggers, though you may lose the
source of cheap toilet paper. So ... you know which two jobs cities
will cut first. Police and garbage collection.
In DeKalb GA
where I live, the county cut 80 police jobs, furloughed them (work
some days for free), and a whole bunch of other annoying
First, I want
to address safety. I have complained for years, police officers
should not patrol alone. Massachusetts or Georgia, pointing out the
reasons does not seem to make a difference, no more then writing to
John Kerry about corrupt Clinton or that our soldiers did not have
the best body armor or that they had to weld 1/4' steel plates to
Humvees made any difference.
So, I don't
expect this to change anything, this is just for your own
Massachusetts they just had a police officer killed on duty.
Supposedly a three time felon. In this same week, a Georgia state
police officer was shot and killed on duty. Now a female Ohio
Sheriff's Deputy with two children is killed on duty.

Massachusetts the killer will spend most of his life in Walpole,
where he gets cable TV. Inmates at Walpole were getting cable TV
when I as a citizen could not afford it myself, along with weight

with any amount of justice and with enough time the killer will
eventually be executed and be sent back to God for real judgment and
to met his victim. Which is what the law was given to Moses, that
Jesus said he was not here to change. This is what God told Noah.

surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every
beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of
every man's brother will I require the life of man.

The reality is
because we do not control our borders, specifically with Mexico, we
can not control the illegal immigrants coming into this country
destroying the USA, we can not control the drugs destroying the USA,
we can not even stop illegal guns without serial numbers (guns in
the USA from 1968+ onward have to have serial numbers) from entering
the USA. We can't control anything including felons with guns.
the fact that before the Federal government required serial numbers
on guns and curtailed your God given rights to defend yourself,
people such as my mother use to take her shotgun and .22 rifle to
school for 4H club practice. I heard Sen. John Glen say the same
thing on TV.
What we can
control RIGHT NOW is the murder of police officers. It is my humble
opinion none of these officers would have been shot if they had
partners with them. The Ohio deputy, maybe, but, while she was
taking pictures, if another armed deputy was casing the local
environment, things might have been different.
It is my
opinion the piece of human trash would not have shot the Georgia
state trooper in the neck, above his vest, if there was a partner
with a loaded Glock with (17) rounds of 9mm justice standing behind
the felon on the other side of the car. At the very least the felon
would not have stolen the patrol car and we would likely not be
feeding him the next ten years waiting for all his appeals to run
out before he gets fried. Meanwhile a ten year old kid has lost his
father at Christmas and has left a wife behind.
We live in a
wicked generation and the Bible tells us the most wicked people, the
ones that followed Satan the first time around, would be born last.
What, you can't see that?
-1) No more
officers patrolling alone, that includes city, state, BLM, Border,
FBI, etc. A loaded shot gun in the front seat for patrol cars. A
semi-auto rifle in the trunk and at least 100 rounds for each. If
you do not like the increased labor cost, you are free to volunteer
-2) Forget the
pensions which are breaking the cities and governments. They are
nothing more then a Ponzi scheme and the money paid into them is
mis-spent by union leaders to enrich themselves, the socialists, and
their one world order. No more pensions, period. I pay for mine,
you pay for yours.
insurance for officers killed on the job or off the job. Not paid
with cash, but, with gold and silver so it always keeps up with
inflation for the family they leave behind. 833 oz. of gold or 33333
oz. of silver. Right now that works out to about $1,000,000 at
today's prices. The officer leaves in his will how he wants it to
disbursed. Ten years from now, $100,000 will still be worth $100,000
for a child left behind.
-4) Pay equal
to whatever a full time UPS driver earns. Last time I checked it was
close to $30 an hour. We have law officers in GA earning $18 an
hour. It is not enough. I know a UPS driver works much harder, but,
he does not have to arrest someone with AIDs trying to bite him or
spit on him, while high on drugs.
Forget all the
this and that worthless side benefits, education bennies, and
pensions. Pay them straight up what they are worth, so they make
well over the poverty level (hint $18 an hour does not cut it) in
their local area, and let them invest their own left over money.
5) Free gym
membership if not provided at the police station. Bonus at the end
of the year of money or vacation time for anyone meeting the Army's
6) One hour of
free gun range time per week and 50 rounds. Bonus at the end of the
year of money or vacation time for anyone meeting a national
standard (NRA) for excellence for whatever rifle, pistol, or shotgun
they carry in the patrol car.
7) A food VISA
card for three free coffees and donuts (or sandwiches) per day.
Officers should be encouraged to use them all over the city, on and
off duty. Let the criminals worry about when a police officer will
show up for a free coffee or sandwich at any time of the day.
The captain or
chief should encourage spending the cards in areas with high crime
rates. The money coming into the area under siege will help keep
businesses in business and drive out criminals from that area while
keeping citizens a bit safer, those brave enough or poor enough to
liability insurance, good for on and off the job, including while
working an extra detail such as security for an apartment building
(DeKalb GA had two police officers killed at an apartment doing that
in 2010) or sporting event or while making a lawful arrest or
intervention while off duty. Example, if the officer is at the mall,
and he/she stops someone while they are breaking into a car and they
kick them in the shins, if you punch them in the nose and break it,
like a normal citizen would, you are covered. You are covered as a
private citizen, not the higher standards of a police officer.
Now, as a
Christian you might wonder if there is any guidance about this in
the Bible, well, as a matter of fact, yes, there is. Note
to Obama: The godless, wicked, and blind pharisees you went to and
now surround ourself with, never taught this I bet.
