If you, Obama, had taken my advice, you would not have to distract with some lame comment from Gibbs about Palin, after the fact. You would have your ready made scape goat, in YOUR mind.
But, the truth is if Sarah Palin was in charge this probably never would have happened. Why?

When you put someone in charge touched by God, that loves God, and does his word, he blesses what they touch. It is as simple as that, that is the lesson of both Joesph and Daniel. You can play church all you want with Pelosi, God knows the difference as he searches hearts. Where was your heart and liberal compassion as you mocked the Special Olympics on Jay Leno?
Also, Palin (who's child might some day be in the Special Olympics) has a proven record of rooting out corruption in her own party and dealing with oil companies, how about you? You knew the MMS needed cleaning.

People that love God will not make a distinction when judging and rooting out corruption, like Daniel did with Suzanna. Plus, God will open their eyes to possible solutions or the best course to take when a disaster does strike.
In World War II Patton had his men and preacher pray to God to solve their weather problem and it worked. Why don't you get your social justice spiritual guide, throw in some medicine men, and do a dance and some praying before God and see where it gets you?
Since your social justice pastor teaches Jesus was a socialist, he must be very pleased with Jim Wallace so far. So, maybe he can do a miracle in the sight of our eyes, like this:

So, the music was playing, people were slapping each other on the back about BP's unsinkable record and good fortune. Though just like the Titanic it had a serious structural flaw that people ignored, even when the flaw was obvious. Plus, the emergency equipment that should have been there in a failure, was not. You had to beg other countries for even measly lifeboats (chemicals and boom equipment).
Your hand chosen leftist liberal Harvard college educated, officer of the deck, drove the Titanic right into an iceberg.
Then just like the captain of the Titanic, when the disaster struck you dithered away your time to solve the problem before it got worse. What did you solve with the golf game?
Then once water is on the upper decks and people (the environment ) are about to die you fire your Harvard educated pal and 1st officer, hoping we will forget about her,
which we will not, after she hit the iceberg and did noting to stop the ship from sinking.
It is really not in my heart to pray and fast for three days without food and water, to get a solution for you or to pray for you, being the lying socialist that you are. But, I still love the people of Louisiana, so I offer an off hand suggestion.
Make a balloon out of thick flexible rubber not easily torn, such as the coating on our submarines, put it folded tightly into a cardboard tube that will break on inflation, shove it as far as possible into the pipe, and partially inflate it with a broken liquid helium vial. Before the main sealing balloon is deployed, I would inflate or weigh down the bottom of a two part balloon with something much heavier then water by blowing in copper coated lead BBs. If you have a vent on the top of the balloon you should be able to blow in hot air/water and BBs and extract (not freely vent) the air as the BBs display the helium and hot air.

Didn't it occur to anyone if the oil is under enough pressure to blow past 36,000 pounds per square inch of water pressure that anything you tried to blow into the tube would blow right out without containment? You need a flexible containment vessel as strong as mild steel to contain whatever you decide to use to fill the pipe, without ripping in the oil current while inflating.
