► Mocking the Book of Daniel

In case you have not figured it out yet by the evil way people act and the things they support and do, we are in the end times. It started when Israel became a state in 1948. Understand the parable of the fig tree.

Certainly the Book of Daniel is about it. So, where is the mocking in the Senate bill?

"As the chair has confirmed, rule 22, paragraph 2, of the standing rules of the Senate, the necessary affirmative vote shall be two-thirds of the senators present and voting. Let me go to the bill before us, because buried deep within the over 2,000 pages of this bill, we find a rather substantial change to the standing rules of the Senate… Clearly a rule change.

"This is not legislation. It's not law. This is a rule change. It's a pretty big deal. We will be passing a new law and at the same time creating a Senate rule that makes it out of order to amend or even repeal the law. I'm not even sure that it's constitutional," he continued. "

7All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

8Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

9Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.

10Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

This is the "law" the Senate passed on our Lord's birthday, Dec 25th 2009. Calling it good, when it was filled with bribes, pork, death, and filth.

The Senate said that the law/bill once passed could NEVER be changed. Just like the law of the Medes and Persians. Was it to protect the life time "corn husker kick-back" by (D-NEB) Sen. Nelson or a dig at the Bible, or both? This was subtle, read a few more real obvious ones and then decide.
